HOW
DO I...
MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?
All surgeries and
clinics are run by appointment except for emergencies.
You can book one week in advance for mornings and
afternoons.
You can request to see a particular doctor (which may mean waiting a few more days) or to see
any doctor (which may mean that you get a quicker appointment).
Last appointment of the day is at 6.00pm.
If you need to speak to a doctor, phone any morning between 9.00 and 11.30am and ask to
speak to the duty doctor. They will either take your call or arrange to call you back.
If you have an urgent problem which you feel needs to be seen on the day, please ring or come to
the surgery at 8.30am.
We would encourage you to book in advance unless you feel the problem is urgent. This will reduce
queuing and should make the surgery more accessible for people who work.
For the sake of others, if you no longer require or are unable to keep to an appointment, then please
let us know as soon as possible.
